Frequently asked questions

Is the oMyPDF PDF to JPG tool free?

Yes. Converting PDF pages to images is 100% free with no watermark and no sign-up required.

Which image format should I choose?

JPG is best for photos and the smallest files. PNG is lossless and ideal for text, line art and transparency. WEBP gives PNG-like quality at a smaller size, supported by all modern browsers.

What's the difference between 'Pages to images' and 'Extract images'?

'Pages to images' renders each whole page as a picture at the resolution you choose. 'Extract images' pulls out the original photos and graphics that are embedded inside the PDF, at their native size — ideal when you just want the pictures, not the page layout.

Can I convert only certain pages?

Yes. Enter page numbers or ranges like 1-3, 5, 8-10 in the Pages field. Leave it empty to convert every page.

What resolution should I use?

Use Screen (72 DPI) for on-screen viewing, Good (150 DPI) for general use, or High (300 DPI) for print-quality images.

Are my files safe?

PDFs under 15 MB are rendered entirely in your browser and never leave your device. Larger files are sent over an encrypted connection, processed immediately, and deleted right after.
