Refund Policy

How billing, cancellations and refunds work for oMyPDF subscriptions. This Refund Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.

Last updated:

1. Free Plan

The core of oMyPDF is free to use. The Free plan does not require payment, so there is nothing to refund. Most browser-based tools (such as merge, split, compress, sign and edit) are unlimited on every plan and never require a paid subscription.

You are never charged simply for creating an account. A charge only occurs if you explicitly choose to subscribe to a paid plan.

2. Paid Subscriptions

oMyPDF offers optional paid plans (currently Plus and Pro) that unlock higher file-size limits, more premium conversions, an ad-free experience and longer-lived share links. Paid plans are billed as recurring subscriptions on a monthly or yearly basis, in advance, through our third-party payment processor.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We do not store your full card details; payments are handled securely by our payment processor.

3. Refund Policy

Because subscriptions grant immediate access to premium features, payments for monthly and yearly subscriptions are generally non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly provided below. In particular, we do not normally issue refunds in the following situations:

  • You no longer need the service after purchasing.
  • You subscribed but used the service little or not at all during the billing period.
  • Our prices changed after your purchase.
  • You purchased the wrong plan or billing period by mistake, or bought a duplicate plan in error (but see Section 4 for genuine duplicate charges).
  • The service did not meet a personal expectation or lacked a specific feature that was not promised.
  • Upload or download speeds were slow due to your own internet connection or device.
  • A particular file failed to process due to its content, corruption, password protection or formatting, while the service was otherwise operating normally.
  • You forgot to cancel before an automatic renewal.
  • Brief or intermittent technical issues that were resolved or did not materially prevent use of the service.

Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence. Where those laws give you stronger rights, those rights prevail.

4. When You May Be Eligible for a Refund

We will review refund requests and may issue a refund in the following circumstances:

Duplicate or billing errors

If a billing error resulted in a genuine duplicate charge, or you were charged an incorrect amount, contact us. Once we confirm the error, we will refund the affected amount.

Persistent, unresolved technical faults

If a paid feature is substantially unusable due to a persistent fault on our side that our support team is unable to resolve within a reasonable time, you may be eligible for a refund of the affected period. Please give us a fair opportunity to investigate and fix the issue first.

Unauthorised charges

If you believe a charge was fraudulent or made without your authorisation, contact us promptly. We will investigate and, where confirmed, refund the charge.

5. EU/UK Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with similar protections, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

However, when you start a subscription you are asking for immediate access to digital content and services. Where you expressly consent to immediate access and acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, that statutory right may no longer apply. Where the service has only been partially performed, any refund may be reduced proportionately to reflect the use already provided.

6. Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by contacting us. When you cancel:

  • Your plan remains active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
  • You will not be charged again after the current period ends.
  • Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not, by itself, refund the current period.

After cancellation takes effect, your account reverts to the Free plan and you keep access to all free tools.

7. How to Request a Refund

Please contact us before requesting a refund through your bank or payment provider — in most cases we can resolve the matter faster directly. To help us process your request quickly, include:

  • The email address associated with your oMyPDF account.
  • The approximate date and amount of the charge.
  • The reason for your request and any relevant details (for example, error messages).

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. The time for the funds to appear depends on your bank or payment provider and is outside our control.

8. Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us can delay resolution and may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated. We are happy to work with you directly to resolve any billing concern.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
